Hi dears. As u all know our jubile cross prayan is moving District to District spreading the love and the grace of our lord whereever it goes, From chitradurga Parish priest fr. Jacob himself bought the cross to Davangere and handed over the cross to fr. Jimmy mcbs, Davangere. As the nurses program is going in Davangere it was right time to have our jubile cross there. There they had intercession along with the blessed sacrament. Mr. Antony, prolife ministry is taken commitment to take the jubile cross to north karnataka. Today our cross is moving to Bellary. Fr. Mari joseph had called me and told that they will be receiving the cross in the shrine and have holy mass and adoration along with the all the parishners and local youths.

Jubilee Cross At Bhadravathi

Jubilee Cross has reached Bhadravathi on 12th Jan 2010 at 1.30 PM. Received by the parish priest, Mr.Davis N P, and the sisters of DSHJ convent Bhadravathi,Moolekatte. First the cross has been taken to community Care Center (A care center for AIDS patients at Bhadravathi.) and was there till 3.00 PM. All the patients there prayed before the cross for all Jesus Youth family also.

Then the cross was taken to DSHJ convent Bhadravathi. Holy Mass and Adoration were there with the leadership of Fr. Michael, the parish priest and few parishioners. Cross was there giving blessings till 5.00 PM.

At 5 PM The Cross has been taken by the Youth of the Parish to Mary Immaculate church, Bhadravathi.

At Mary Immaculate church, near around 5.30 PM ,the Cross was received by the Parish priest, Fr.Dennis, Youth Leaders and the Parishioners . Holy Mass followed by Adoration had taken place there in the presence of Holy jubilee Cross. The Beautiful part there was the procession taken place around the church with the participation of all parishioners. The people who coordinated the activities are Wilson,Paulose,Louise and Albert.

At 8.30 PM , Cross has gone to Infant Jesus Church, Bdravathi, moolekatte. There reception of the cross was there by the Youth of the Church.

Mr.Davis T V,Mr.Justin,Mr.Nithin,Mr.Dickson and Mr.Jaison were there to coordinate the activities. Adoration was there with the leadership of Mr.Justin.

Even at 10.pm ,the holy Jubilee Cross has been taken to some of the Youth’s homes for begging the blessings. People were very enthusiastic to participate all the activities till the cross left for Shimoga Sacred heart church on 13th Jan 2010 Morning at 10.00.

Report of Silver Jubilee intercession in Mysore

Silver Jubilee Mass

We started the jubilee year with the Eucharistic celebration on the 1st of January we had a presence of nearly around 16 JY’s. At around 5.45pm Noel gave us a short introduction about the Sliver Jubilee year, why we are celebrating the Silver Jubilee and its importance. Noel led us into a short time of praise and at 6.00pm Fr. Stany celebrated mass for us which went on till 6.45pm. After the mass Fr. Stany told us about how the lifestyle of a youth should be. Finally Theresa thanked Fr.Stany for celebrating mass for us and mutually we prayed for him and all his works.

Silver Cross

We started intercession at 8.45am Fr, Bernad Prakash exposed the sacrament we sang few songs followed by silent prayer for some time we had a short time of praise and it went on till 9.30am.

At 9.30am we recited rosary which was lead by Theresa offering many intentions we also sang few songs this went on till 10.30am. We recited four (4) rosaries offered several intentions and it went on till 10.30am.

At 10.30am we had Praise & worship lead by Mathew which went on till 11.15am.

From 11.15 am we prayed specially for the Silver jubilee preparations. Every one offered many intentions and after every intension we recited One Our Father and Three Hail Mary we ended this at 12.00pm.

At 12.00pm we once again recited rosary lead by Noel surrendering all JY’s, their families and their work. We recited two(2) rosaries and sang few songs in between and at 12.30pm Mervyn Pinto took over and we all prayed specially for the zone of Mysore and all the JY activities happening in the zone this went on till 1.30pm. We had a small break and came back by 2.00pm.

We spent a small time of silent prayer for around half an hour till 2.45pm and later on we sang few songs.

At 3.00pm we had the Divine Rosary lead by elder which went on till 3.30pm followed with that we had the Eucharistic Celebration by Fr Dennis which went on till 4.30pm.

At 4.30pm we had Bible Study lead by Theresa which went on till 5.15pm.

We ended the day at 5.15pm and the cross was moved to Mervyn Joseph’s house and later in the night around 9.00pm cross was moved to Shantal Bavan (Sharol hostel). We had a night vigil till 7.00am the next morning.

Silver Cross

At 9.30am we moved the cross to Franciscan Convent (Pavithra’s hostel) we prayed there till 10.30am and later on we took the cross to Mathew’s house prayed till around 11.45am we then moved to Noel’s house spent some time of prayer till 12.45pm

And finally we went to Mervyn Pinto’s house prayed till around 2.00pm and later on we took the cross to Coorg.

Jubilee Cross Prayan in Chitradurga

Dearies,  our Jubilee cross has been received by Mr. Prasad, (local  JY) took the cross to his parish and there they had intercession with most of the families.
Yesterday it was our lords grace to me to be in Chitradurga. I called up Fr. Jacob, Parish priest and updated about our Jubile cross. As it was Friday, fr. Jacob was already announced in the parish and in the school about the arrival of our jubile cross. Around 150 to 200 were present including nurses ministry in the Holy mass and adoration. Once again father briefed about the jubile cross and about the importance of the cross. I experienced great support and love towards Jesus Youth, he prayed for our movement and also asked parishners to support us thro prayers. It was great surprise when father himself agreed to hand over the cross to next station DAVANGERE. I have seen the love & passion towards the cross in the Priest.  He called up Fr. Jimmy, mcbs Davangere and informed about his arrival with our jubile cross. It is our lords grace and also your prayers many things happening in KARNATAKA. Let us thank lord and continue to pray for his mercy and GRACE. Love u all.

Jubilee Cross at Badravathi

Hi dear family. It is joy to say that even though we dont have any JY presence in Bhadravathi God made it possible using ICYM youth. I will ever thankful to our elder DAVIS CHETAN AND JUSTIN ALL OTHER YOUTH OF BHADRAVATHI for the grand Jubilee Prayan. They took the cross to Community care centre, and other convents and two parishes and celebrated mass and adoration. And also prayed in their family. I thank god for pouring love and grace and making most of the youth possible to pray. JUSTIN will be sending the reports and photos.

Jubilee Cross Prayan

Hi dear family. Let me thank you for your valuable prayers which made
lord to pour his grace thro the Jubile cross. According to the updates
from antony, Coorg. the entire coorg was joy and prayerful. They had
arranged the vehicle and made possible to reach the families and
convents in coorg. Today Our JUBILE CROSS will be handed over to
HASSAN TEAM.  Let us continue to pray for the children of god in
Hassan. Thank you.

New 'West Sub region' team

Hi all,
Trust you are doing good.
As many of you are aware we have 6 sub-regions in Karnataka.
The 'West Sub-region' is one of them andincludes Jesus Youth zones and
areas like Mangalore, Udupi, Manipal, Karwar, Sullia, Puthur, Mulki,
Mudbidri, Belthangady and Kundapura.
The west Sub-region has got a new team last Sunday. The out going
coordinator Jincy Varghese is migrating to Canada very soon. We assure
all our prayers for her.

Silver Jubilee Cross at Mysore on 5th & 6th January, 2010

We the Jesus Youth of Mysore received the Silver Jubilee Cross on the 5^thJanuary. The Blessed Sacrament was exposed in St.Philomena’s College Chapel at 9:00 am by Rev.Fr.Bernard Prakash, where the Cross was placed. The members prayed from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm by.

• Praise and Worship
• Reciting Rosaries
• Singing Hymns
• Reading and mediating the Word of God

At 3:00 pm we recited the Divine Mercy followed by the Holy Eucharist celebrated by Rev.Fr.Davis, CM. After Mass the members were divided into two groups and had Bible Sharing. We had fellowship by sharing sweets.

Then the Cross had been taken to Elders residence, families in and around joined to pray from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.The Cross had been given at Chantal Bhavan Chapel.  The following day the Cross was taken to different Core Member’s houses, by noon Core members Noel and Matthew handed over the Cross in Coorg.

Karnataka Nurses Leaders learning Programme

 Dear All......
 Karnataka Nurses Leaders learning Programme was a blessing .........
Ther were around  23 participants from  different parts of Karnataka  and  among which  two were localites
Almighty God blessed us with wonderful venu in jeevalaya Blore  for 6 days from (18th to 23rd December, 2009) with 24hrs intercession in front of blessed scarament
Retreat and traning went on  smoothely  with many good  persons like Fr james,Fr bitaju  Babychayan,raiju chetan, lindo chettan  etc
Good number of leaders were present throught the programme ...... motivating and praying for the participants
All the participants were inspired  and filled with the love of our lord jesus .... Lets pray and hope that they become the instruments in the hand of our lord for this land of karnataka.


A follow up team was formed  with Alphy  Nithin and Reeja  to  monitor the spiritual growth of the leaders and to plan for further prgmmes in future .
Follow up of LLP happening in Mangalore  ( Feb. 6th & 7th)  hope to see you there

Jubilee Cross has been handed over to chickmagalur

HI DEAR FAMILY,

TODAY OUR JUBILE CROSS HAS BEEN HANDED OVER TO CHICKMAGALUR TEAM BY MR. SUDHEEP, HASSAN JY,.... STANY, CKM JY WHO RECEIVED THE  JUBILE CROSS HAS PLANNED TO HAVE THE INTERCESSION AT KOODHVALLI PARISH, AS PARISH PRIST HAS ANNOUNCED PARISHNERS ABOUT THE JUBILE CROSS. MORNING IT WILL BE IN THE CHICKMAGALUR CONVENT, FOR NURSES MINISTRY INTERCESSION.

TODAY WE ARE GOING TO HAVE  INTERCESSION FOR THE JUBILE CROSS THRO OUT KARNATAKA.  I HAVE ASKED THOMPSON, BANGALORE CO ORDITNATOR, MANDYA BALU, MYSORE SHAROL, TO CONTINUE THE INTERCESSION SPECIALY FOR JUBILE CROSS PRAYAN THROUGHOUT THIS MONTH.  HOPE U ALL WILL JOIN IN YOUR PRAYERS, COMMITMENTS FOR THE SUCESS OF THIS JUBILE CROSS PRAYAN.

I AM CONTACTING EVERY REGION HEADS TO HAVE INTERCESSION FOR THE JUBILE CROSS PRAYAN, SO THAT WHOLE KARNATAKA WILL BE PRAYER ATMOSPHERE FOR THE PREPARATION OF JUBILE YEAR CELEBRATION.

I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST U ALL TO MOTIVATE EVERY TEAM FOR THIS INTERCESSION PROCESS IN YOUR REGION.

Hi dear family. Let me thank u all for your valuable prayers for coorg. As per the updates i got from Antony, it was the blessing that the coorg has experienced thro this jubile cross prayan.
